Getting to Kwafubesi Tented Camp
Situated within the heart of the 12,000 hectare malaria-free Mabula Private Game reserve, Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp is located 20 minutes’ drive from Mabula Game Lodge, a mere 2 hour drive from Johannesburg and a short distance away from the Limpopo town of Bela Bela.
- Get on N1 Western Bypass | 8 min (4.8 km)
- Continue on N1 Western Bypass. Drive from N1 to Limpopo. Take exit 224 from N1 | 1 h 21 min (146 km)
- Merge onto N1 Western Bypass, Toll road | 16.7 km
- Keep right to stay on N1 Western Bypass, Toll road | 8.5 km
- At the interchange, Buccleuch, Use the left 2 lanes to follow signs for N1 toward Pretoria/Polokwane/N4/Witbank, Toll road | 20.0 km
- Use the left 3 lanes to take exit 124 to merge onto N1 toward Pretoria/Polokwane, Partial toll road | 100 km
- Take Exit 238 to Bela Bela
- Head northwest on R516 toward Khota St | 2.8km
- Turn right onto Marx St / R101 | 550m
- Turn left onto Potgieter Rd | 160m
- Turn right onto Richie Rd | 220m
- Turn left onto Voortrekker Rd | 800m
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Rooiberg Rd | 230m
- Continue onto R516 | 33km
- Take the D2533 | 4.1km
- Turn right onto D1000 | 7.4km
- Mabula Game Lodge will be on your left
- Follow directions to the Mabula Game Lodge reception
